Jewelry Artist
Lu-C Leisemann
"In working with jewelry I've found a fascination with putting together shapes and color to create something that is both attractive and emotive."
"When I think about my jewelry, I think bold, color, and emotions."
"I believe I learned that emotive drive in my art from my mother. She taught me that creativity was about taking something that is an idea or emotion in your head and expressing it outward through an everyday medium. It could be paint, or fiber, or - even beads. In creating art you take something internal and turn it outward into something that is uniquely yours."
Lu-C lives in Watertown with her two sons, Jason and Adam. She studied theater at the University of Madison-Eau Claire campus and has a passion for storytelling and working with children.
Lu-C is the second of four daughters of Lulu G. Lemery.
