About the Lemery Foundation

The Lulu G Lemery Foundation is a 501(c)3 national nonprofit arts organization that conducts community-based art education and promotional programs in the areas of arts and communication.  The foundation was formed as a memorial to Lulu G. Lemery (Funk), who was a well-known landscape artist in south central Wisconsin, in order to:

1.Foster personal development and self-expression
2.Provide quality education experiences
3.Encourage the growth of the arts and expression
4.Develop artists, authors, musicians, performers, and craftsmen

The Lemery Foundation model consists of community-based chapter houses offering the setting and services necessary to promote and develop local artisans.

Chapter Houses are staffed and guided by local membership with the support and help of the Lemery Foundation corporate office.  Public support in the form of event attendance, education enrollment, fundraising activities and grants writing support the work of emerging and established artists so their work can be promoted and brought before consumers, art critiques, publishers, agents, galleries, and art supporters.
